Hull Business Energy Efficiency Scheme (HBEES) is a £3m project that’s aims to provide Hull based SMEs with support to assist them to become more energy efficient by adopting new technology, utilising internal and external expertise and access to grant funding.

The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to boost renewable energy use in the area and contribute to the reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG).

Working with our delivery partner NPS Humber we can offer energy management/efficiency expertise. NPS Humber bring a range of skills and knowledge to the programme helping businesses to achieve their sustainable goals and save money.

The scheme will run until 31st March 2023 offering eligible SMEs a range of interventions.

We would like to deliver the following workshop:

Introduction to Energy Efficiency

The workshop must demonstrate as a minimum:

  • Provide an overview of how businesses can control and reduce the amount of energy they use, to reduce costs, risk, and carbon emissions.
  • Provide an overview of Carbon Reduction Technology – i.e. Heating Systems, Lighting Systems, Clean Energy Technologies
  • What is Net Zero and why is it important.

At the end of the workshop the business owner should be able to understand and actively engage with Carbon Reduction Technologies and how it can be incorporated into their business activity, and how to effectively manage their Carbon Footprint.

Interested organisations will need to complete an Expression of Interest to deliver the workshop and include a proposed training plan which is aimed at SMEs.   The 2hr session should allow for a question and answer session.
