About this event

All SMEs in Hull are invited to take part in a networking event held by The Hull Business Energy Efficiency Scheme at The Deep in Hull.

This event, will take place between 8.00am and 10.00am on Tuesday 30th November 2021 at the Oceans Gallery within The Deep in Hull. We are delighted to have Calvin Innes – Creative Director of Drunk Animal, as our guest speaker. Calvin, whose business like your own is an SME in Hull but he is also speaking at the internationally important UN (United Nations) COP26 Climate Change Conference taking place in Glasgow between 31st October and 12th November this year.

Calvin will discuss the power of marketing to promote discussion and movement around Climate Change, The Shorelines Project, The importance of community engagement and using powerful adverts to promote thought and change.

There will also be the opportunity for networking and to find out more about the different organisations, who can support businesses with their net zero targets, and if your business can take part in industrial symbiosis.

The event will have limited tickets available so we recommend booking your place early; catering will be provided as the event starts at 8:00am and will include breakfast sandwiches and a variety of tea, coffee, and orange juice.

Businesses from across Hull will be able to learn how they can make important changes to their businesses to embrace climate change and become more sustainable in preparation of Hull’s target of becoming Carbon Neutral by 2030.
